Sitting at my desk drinking coffee (a funny video)

Here is a video of me sitting at my desk drinking coffee. Had some fun filming this one.
Just having a nice cup of Joe. Having coffee is always the best time of the day.
It's always time for coffee, no matter what time of day it is. Don't you agree? I sometimes enjoy a good hot dog, as well as coffee.

Coffee is amazing

This is one of those beverages you can drink any time of day. In the morning is the best, but a good brew is great any time. I drink coffee all day long. Man, I love it. Hope you enjoy this funny video I made for you guys. This is just some content I made for the YouTube channel.

Youtuber Wafflepwn admits videos are fake

 Does Wafflepwn fake their videos?

A photo of Wafflepwn brothers standing together outside
The YouTube duo recently admitted that the videos are fake. The duo has been making people laugh for years with their antics. The main star of the videos is Stephen, one of the brothers.

The videos are a part of the "Greatest freakout ever" series, where Stephen repeatedly gets mad at certain situations and flips out.

So is Wafflepwn fake? There has been talking for years about the videos possibly being staged. Early in the YouTube channel's history, Stephen's mother admitted in an interview that they were staged.

But some people still doubted it

Recently in a live stream on their YouTube channel, one of the brothers, Stephen, admitted that the videos are fake/staged.

So he finally came out and admitted it. The "Is Wafflepwn fake" question has finally been answered. But it doesn't really matter, that fact is, the videos are comedic genius and nothing will ever change that.

A great channel

They are hilarious and entertaining to watch. I personally have been a big fan for years. I hope they continue to have success with their channel.

At any rate, the videos have gone viral many times over, and these guys are celebrities at this point.

What are my thoughts on the new Cinemassacre podcast?

The new Cinemassacre Podcast. I wanted to share my thoughts on it. And no, it isn't featuring Bootsy and Kyle, like in the pic.

Although let's be honest, we all would have loved to see them come back to the channel. The podcast features Justin, Kieran, and James (Rolfe).

The podcast started officially a few weeks ago during the middle of summer. It has been getting mixed reviews from Cinemassacre fans.

As you can imagine, a lot of people aren't happy with the podcast.

But why? I think it's because most fans might not have wanted this content on the channel.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great idea for anyone to do a podcast. And I'm not bashing their show at all.

But I think most fans wanted to see them put more into the AVGN episodes, YKWBS and even doing something like bringing back Board James.

I would really love to see the latter return personally. I miss that show.

On the new Cinemassacre Podcast, they talk a lot about gaming, and each of their respective histories, a lot of things that have happened to them, etc.

I don't think it's bad, but my honest criticism is that they need to talk more about current events. Like stuff that's trending in the world of pop culture and gaming, for example.

That keeps the podcast nice and fresh.

I will say that I haven't watched a full episode all the way through, so I can't give a "full review" on it. But these are just some of my thoughts.

What are your thoughts? Do you like the Cinemassacre podcast? Or should they just focus on AVGN and the classic content?

I do admire them for starting a podcast. Even though a lot of people have jumped on that bandwagon, I still think podcasts are pretty awesome.

And I think it's cool that James and them have tried it. It could actually help the channel out quite a bit, who knows.

Please share and leave a comment.

Funny video from my main youtube channel

If you guys want to see a funny video from my main YouTube channel, I decided to post it here. I make a lot of videos like this.

Black and white picture of man laughing
I love laughing at funny stuff.

Just me doing something funny. In this video, I'm drinking coffee. This is a nod to Chevy Chase in Christmas Vacation when he drinks the eggnog and says "It's good…it's good" when he's basically losing his mind.

I love this video

It's one of my favorite scenes ever… I decided to re-enact it, just sitting at my desk with coffee. Enjoy. Here's the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0X7b8JE_Fao

I hope you guys enjoy that little piece, and if you do, please drop a like or a comment. Or both. Haha. Any engagement on the video definitely helps out a lot. Thanks, guys.

Thought's on Cinemassacre's reduced number of new videos

Here are my thoughts on Cinemassacre putting out a lower quantity of videos lately. Well, it's happened more and more over the last year or so.

A photo of James Rolfe from Cinemassacre
James Rolfe

Last year, they put out a lot more videos. This year, it seems like there have only been a couple handfuls. Why is this the case?

There is a lot of speculation on the Cinemassacre Truth Subreddit...a lot of people are calling James lazy and saying he doesn't have the passion anymore to make videos.

I don't personally think James is lazy...I think he's extremely burned out…there is a difference.

No time

There is of course the whole "no time" thing.

He always claims to have no time to do videos...and he wants to make a horror movie, but he came out with another video saying he has no time to make the movie.

So the question is…if he really has "no time"..then why is that the case? He hired Screenwave to basically take over the channel.

The Screenwave guys

James is busy

I get that he's a family man and all that. But at this point, he's putting his kids over his dream of being a filmmaker.

If he wants to keep making films, he needs to do it while he's still young and has the time. He shouldn't wait until he's 60 to do what he's dreamed of.

Go for it

Sometimes you just have to go for it and do the things you want in life. You don't always get a "perfect" opportunity…sometimes you have to create that change yourself.

James has a lot of dreams and goals. He wants to make more films...that is his passion, after all. So he needs to go for it.

But he seems to think he doesn't have time to start. I think he needs to just start somewhere, even if he takes baby steps.

Action steps👍

You just have to take small action steps sometimes. Every step gets you closer to your goal. Well, this is turning into a motivational piece. Haha.

Where do you think James' passion has gone? It almost seems like he never really wanted to be a YouTuber at all.

After all, Mike is the one who talked him into creating the AVGN. Thank God that Mike did that, if it wasn't for him, we wouldn't even have all those amazing nerd episodes.

But if it wasn't for Mike, would James even be on YouTube? Does James even have a passion for gaming?

James is a movie guy

He's said it himself a few times, he's "more of a movie guy". That's his thing, he's into films. He even considers most of his YouTube work to be films.

If that's what he wants to consider, that's fine by me, I don't have a problem with it. Some of those videos, though, I would consider "shorts".

It seems like James feels there's something wrong with being labeled a "YouTuber". It's like he doesn't want to be seen as that or associated with it. Why? There's nothing wrong with making videos on YouTube.

Just my thoughts. I don't think James is lazy, but his passion seems to have dried up. Hopefully, he can get it back.

I've been trying to keep my stress down

I've been extremely stressed out. I'm not sure entirely why…but I do know that a lot of it has to do with YouTube.

Since I'm a content creator...it gets very stressful…and I get burned out very easily. I also have more than one channel, so that makes it even harder to keep up with everything.

A stressed out man sits down
A stressed man wearing blue sits down with his hands on his head.

I hate being stressed out; it sucks. Nobody wants to be stressed out. I'm not going to quit YouTube or anything like that…but I need to stop overdoing it.

Sometimes I will work so hard even just for one full day…and by the end of it I'm super stressed out and burned out.

I need a vacation

So then I have to take a day off…or a few days. I need to take more "real" vacations…or staycations in my case.

The problem is, I'm so addicted to making videos and working on my channels. Because I'm so passionate about it...it kind of ends up taking over my life.

I need to learn to have more balance. I was a blogger before I even started YouTube. So maybe if I focus on blogging more for a while…that will ease my stress and take my mind off of the "grind" of YouTube.

Getting back to blogging more

I do love YouTube…make no mistake… I am super passionate about it…I just need to learn balance. That's with anything in life.

So I am going to try blogging more. Blogging is sometimes more therapeutic in a way…because with blogging I tend to let out more of my real feelings. So it's literally the same as therapeutic writing. What a relief it is to blog!

Why you should remove stress from your life

Sometimes you have to do things to remove stress from your life. So in trying to do that, I deleted a few of the blogs that I had. They were smaller blogs, I didn't really have a lot of people reading them or anything.

I had too many blogs, so I couldn't focus on all of them. Now my main blogs are this one and my YouTube channel website.

I feel like in life, doing less is oftentimes more. It's not good to spread yourself too thin. It adds extra stress to your life. So I am trying to remove stress. I already have enough blogs, YouTube channels, social media, etc.

I'm trying to focus on "less is more"

When you have too much going on, it can quickly become overwhelming. That's what you don't want.

Minimalism is the key. It's the whole Buddhist mindset thing. Feng shui and all that. Get rid of clutter and make things simple.

Doing too much is highly overrated. It's really not good to try to spread yourself thin. It really doesn't help anything.

When you keep things minimal and simple, your mind is nice and clear. And a clear mind leads to a lot of happiness. Happiness is always the goal in life. A simple life is a happy one.

That's a good mantra to have

I love anything that has to do with feng shui or Buddhism. Buddhism talks a lot about keeping things simple, especially when it comes to possessions.

Buddhist monks live with very little, and they're super happy about it. Don't you want to be happy like that?

You don't have to get rid of everything, but the less clutter you have in your life, the better off you'll be. Just something to help you out.

Being lighter

You'll overall just feel lighter and more free when you have less clutter in your life and less stress. It's good for your mental health. Being a happier person is one of the goals in life, and you will definitely achieve that.

Many people realize they need to de-stress and simplify their life, but they might not know where to begin. If you're one of those people, don't worry, you can start with one thing and progress from there. Just remove one small stressor from your life, and things will begin to get better.

Thoughts on the "new" Cinemassacre

Has Cinemassacre changed? Well, yes. I've made YouTube videos about this, so I wanted to write a proper blog post about it.

The members of Cinemassacre
The Cinemassacre crew.

Cinemassacre has changed over the years…there's no question about it. It seems that a lot of people are unhappy with the direction the channel/company has gone in…over the last 10 years or so.

Have things changed?

Ever since Bootsy and Kyle left, things haven't "quite" been the same. That's pretty apparent.

The "newer" fans seem to be perfectly ok with it, at least most of them.

I personally am still a big fan of them. However, I do really miss the way things used to be. I miss Bootsy more than anyone, probably.

And don't forget...

Kyle as well. They were such an integral part of the company and the videos. Even though they weren't in that many episodes, they definitely left their mark on us all. And are still in our hearts and minds.

The most notable changes have happened not only with Kyle and Bootsy leaving but also with the introduction of the Screenwave guys.

I personally haven't watched too much of these guys, so I can't really give an honest opinion…but I will say that the videos have a different "feel" to them now.

Except for the ones with just James and Mike. Those feel like classic Cinemassacre.

People don't like the new stuff?

A lot of people complain about the corporate feel of the new videos, and people say that James doesn't seem like his passion is there anymore.

I kind of agree, he seems like not the same energetic, passionate guy we once knew. Maybe he has lost his passion for making videos?

I don't really know. But I guess he hasn't been the same since he made the movie…at least that's what a lot of people are saying.

The truth sub

People on the Cinemassacre Truth Subreddit really get deep into this subject. I follow that sub and there is some good and bad there.

I feel like a lot of people are too hard on James and Mike. I feel like they're doing the best they can. It would be hard to run a company like that and still find time to make content yourself, which is why they hired the Screenwave guys.

It's all part of it

It's just part of growing a company. But yes, I honestly do miss when it was just the original group, and it felt like just a bunch of great friends making videos together.

It just seems like they had more fun back then. But I'll always be a fan. Who knows, maybe things could still go back to how they were.

Update 2024:

I believe the Screenwave crew still works for the Cinemassacre company and channel, but they no longer appear in any videos on the channel. They made that decision a year or two ago. I'm not sure why exactly they stopped appearing in videos, but they did.

Now, they apparently just help run things behind the scenes, which is fine by me. I guess they just felt they needed to step back from the spotlight to focus on business operations.

Quick update...(talking about my various youtube channels)

Just a quick update about my youtube channels. I have other channels besides my main one, which many people are not aware of. So I just wanted to make an update video asking people to check out my other channels.

If you support all my channels it helps me out. I really appreciate you guys. Thanks so much for all your support. Please like and comment on the video.

MULTIPLE CHANNELS

I wanted to have multiple YouTube channels because it's just a better idea in my opinion. To have backups. Just in case.

But it's also cool because it helps you grow bigger and have a wider reach on YouTube. The whole idea is to grow bigger and reach more people.

MORE GROWTH

And having multiple channels will definitely help you accomplish that. Growing bigger isn't really the goal for every person. Some people just want to put content out there and reach a few people.

Honestly, I'm grateful for every person that watches my videos or reads my blogs. I truly am. You guys are awesome.

How to be lit bro.. (advice)

You can be lit, bro! It's easy to be lit. You just have to like to get the clout and all of that great stuff. Being lit takes practice, but you can learn to do it.

😀😀😀

Being lit is one of the greatest things you will ever do in life. You'll be thankful that you did. I hope you enjoy this video that I made about how to be a lit bro.

We can really be dope-lit bro's if we put our minds to it.

A science to it

Being litty is an art form. It's a way to really live your best life. That's why it's important for you to do so.

In this video, I've laid out how you can be litty yourself so you can live your best life path. Keep it cool, bro, and keep living your best life.

Just believe

You can do it if you put your mind to it. Believe in yourself.

It's not really that hard to be lit. You just have to be a really nice person and do really cool things in life. If you do epic things, that automatically equates to being lit. It's the same thing.

Thursday vlog (youtube video)

This is a vlog I made. It's Thursday. Hope you guys are doing well. I love making vlogs like this, where I just talk about what's going on with me.

In this particular vlog, I'm talking about how the cool weather is finally upon us. In Missouri, summers are very hot and the cool weather of fall is very welcome.

The warm weather period from spring to fall in Missouri can seem to last a very long time. So when it finally gets cool, it feels so good.

I do love living in Missouri though

The weather extremes can be pretty hard to deal with sometimes, but I wouldn't live anywhere else.

In this video, I'm also talking about how I started drinking keto coffee. It's basically low-carb/keto-friendly coffee to help you lose weight.
It's very tasty too.

I love being a vlogger

Vlogs are one of my favorite types of videos to make on YouTube. They're just fun to make. I like talking about my life and what I do on a daily basis.

I'm a vlog channel, but I also make funny videos. I am a blogger who started making YouTube videos at one point.

My body is starting to reject soda

I was going through a phase where I felt like my body was starting to reject soda. I drink a lot of diet soda. I used to drink way too much of the stuff.

I would sometimes have 9 or 10 sodas a day. That's way too many. Now I've cut way down on them. I only have maybe 5 at the most on a typical day.

Over the limit?

I SOMETIMES might go over that, but not usually. I try to space them out now. I'll have a glass of tea or water in between sodas.

Healthy choices

I'm trying to at least make some healthy choices now. Instead of just torturing my body. I think we should all love our bodies, they're our temples after all!

Update

November 2021: I'm still drinking diet soda, but I have made a lot of progress in cutting down. I have cut my consumption down a lot. Not like the 9 or 10 sodas I was having per day before.

I seem to be doing just fine with the lower amount. I still like to enjoy some. I love diet soda, so it's hard to completely stop. But I'm drinking more tea and other stuff. I've made progress.

A vlog about my favorite instant coffee (Nescafe)

Nescafé is my favorite instant coffee, so I made a video about it. Why do I love this particular brand so much?

Well, when it comes to instant coffee, they're definitely not all created equal. Instant coffee, certain brands of it, honestly, are not very good in my opinion.

Is instant coffee bad?

Some of them really have that "instant" flavor. If you've tried them, you know what I mean. I really don't care about that.

You might also like: It's coffee time (blog post)

What I love about the Nescafé is that it doesn't really taste that much like Instant. If you make a cup, it actually tastes like "real" coffee.

Nescafé is great

So it really gets the job done and satisfies you, and it's super easy and quick to make.

Update:

It's 2023 right now, and I still drink instant coffee, although it's pretty rare. I just kind of keep it as a backup. I drink regular coffee that I brew, and I love it. But I still love most kinds of coffee, instant or otherwise!

Some days, I actually crave the taste of the instant version. I'm not sure why, but the instant tastes good to me sometimes. It has its own unique flavor, and I really love that. I think most of it is Robusta, though, and I usually prefer Arabica, but it's still good if you want a quick brew.

I get ghosted so much.. (vlog video)

Well, you know, getting ghosted SUCKS! When people ghost you, it can be hard to deal with. But the sad thing is, I think most of us are used to it by now.

Widely accepted

It's become so normal to do this to people, that's the sad thing about it. Why do people do it? I'm not really sure.

I think sometimes they're just scared to actually finish a conversation. Or they just don't care, maybe that's it.

It still sucks

I don't know, but it's hard to accept when someone just leaves you hanging. It really hits you hard sometimes.

Especially when you really care about the person.

Where's my cat? (funny youtube video)

Has anyone seen my little gray kitty? He's the best boy. The heckin' best boy. He's a good little kitty. Sometimes he goes off on his own and I have to find him. But he's still a good boy. Does your cat go off on their own too?

I love filming him

I love making videos of my kitty. He's such a good boy. I find that cat videos are a great thing to make for your YouTube channel.

They work for any kind of channel in my opinion.

He likes being on camera

My cat seems to love being on video. He eats it up. He's really a good boy. People seem to really love when I make videos of him. It's so cool to look at him on camera. I really hope you guys enjoy this video I've made.

I have a few kitty videos on my channel. Likewise, I really enjoy making them, they're fun to film.

UPDATE 2024: My cat sadly passed away in 2022. It was very tragic and sad for me. He got sick unexpectedly and passed away a few days later. Maybe he was sick for a long time, I don't know. He was my best friend in life.

Now, in 2024, I have a new cat. She is also my best friend. Someone gave her to me last year. What a blessing she's been in my life. She's helped me deal with the loss of Grayson.

Coffee will make this night better (video)

I love coffee, any time of day. Late at night, early in the morning, whenever. Coffee is always good. Let's all have some coffee and have a great summer, :) Coffee is the blood of life. It's so good. I love the way it makes me feel. I love a nice hot cup of Joe. Who doesn't love coffee? I mean honestly. The stuff is like gold.

This drink is great

Coffee makes any night better. When you drink the cup of Joe, you just get happy. At least I do. Coffee is happiness in a cup. I can't imagine my life without it.

So I made this video. I love to make coffee videos.

It's simple, really

Sometimes coffee is really the only thing you need in life. There are other great drinks out there, but there will never be another drink quite like the cup of Joe. It's amazing, don't you agree? Drink the good brew and be merry. The great thing about this special drink, is that you can drink it any time of day.

Millions of people all over the world love this tasty, hot (or cold) beverage. Let's all drink a cup and be happy.

I'm feeling very tired (vlog video)

Feeling very tired. Just a quick little vlog sort of thing. In this short clip, I'm talking about being tired. Specifically…have you ever been tired, but you can't figure out if it's because you're doing too much or not doing enough?

This happens to me

I have this problem sometimes. Doing too little can make you lazy sometimes and tired, but doing too much can also make you tired for sure.

There's a good balance, I think. You want to get enough done where you're productive but not burn yourself out.

What helps me

Just having a schedule really helps. You do the things on your list and don't do more than that. That's a good balance.

Why I love YouTube and blogging (they're awesome)

YouTube and blogging are both very similar in my opinion…in that…you are expressing yourself…either through text or video.

For example, a blog and a "vlog" are basically the same thing…just through a different medium.

Two great mediums

Both YouTube and blogging allow me to express myself and put myself out there. They are both arts for me and I enjoy them both very much.

A man watching YouTube on a tablet device
Do you love YouTube?

They both allow me freedom of expression

That's why I love them both in a nutshell. I'm pretty sure I'll keep doing them both, as they both have benefits.

YouTube is great in its own way, and blogging is great in its own way as well.

We're very blessed to have them both

Think about the way they've both allowed us to connect with the world through sharing our thoughts, opinions, etc.

We can now entertain people as well, and cheer people up by making them laugh and stuff like that. YouTube and blogging are both a blessing.

How to build youtube channel authority

I will quickly summarize what it takes to grow a YouTube channel and gain rankings and authority. There are a lot of factors that affect your video rankings…and your whole channel ranking.

Cartoon man holding YouTube logo
You can grow your channel.

These factors are things like CTR (click-through rate), audience retention, watch time, shares, likes, comments, views, and so on.

It's a combination of things

To put it simply, the more of these things you have on your channel, the better. So the more views you accumulate, the more likes, shares, etc, then the higher you will rank on YouTube.

If you can make custom thumbnails too…and get a high CTR and audience retention…then you will grow a lot faster, and you will build channel authority organically.

Youtube subscribe button with green background
YouTube is very fun!

Feeding the YouTube algorithms

It's basically just giving the algorithm what it wants. So you need a combination of all these ranking factors built up over time…the good news is you can get the ball rolling and build these up yourself until your channel starts growing on its own momentum.

It takes time to actually build channel authority, but as you build your channel, you will see the results of your hard work, and it will all be worth it. You can work on things each day that will move you closer to that goal.

Making a dog shape out of my hand (funny video)

Just a video I made.

I'm really just messing around with you guys, if you couldn't tell. This is funny. Haha. I love YouTube, I love doing funny stuff like this. I decided to make a dog head shape out of my hand. We've all seen this trick done before.

I like making funny videos on YouTube like this. They're just fun to make. The whole reason I started YouTube was to promote my blog. But then I started realizing how fun it was just to mess around. Making videos really helps me express myself. Making videos is an art form.

I love making people laugh with my content. Hope you guys enjoyed this one.

UPDATE 2022:

I still love making funny videos. I like to think I've matured a little bit, but I still find myself doing random things in videos. I just love making my viewers laugh.

I feel like that's what separates me from a lot of bloggers and YouTubers: I just love to have fun and make random content.

I try not to take myself too seriously. I don't think any of us should really do that in life. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed the video.
