Happy 4th of July (now it's time to celebrate!)

 Happy 4th of July, guys. I'm really enjoying my 4th weekend. It's been kind of a lazy weekend so far. I got a nice firework show last night, outside my window.

There were 2 different people shooting off fireworks in the distance. So I got a "double" show. It was pretty awesome.

I love America

I bet they'll be shooting them off again tonight outside my house, since tonight is actually the 4th. I'm really grateful this 4th…maybe more so than usual.

I'm grateful to be an American

Our country is so great. We have so much to be grateful for. So many freedoms.

The freedom to be who we want to be...that's the greatest thing. Think about all the men and women who have died protecting our freedom.

The 4th should kind of be like Veterans Day, too. We should honor the people who protect our country. 

A day of gratitude

I feel like this weekend is kind of like Thanksgiving, too.

Just because there is so much to be grateful for, and it's such a great reminder to look around and just appreciate what you have. What do you like to do for the 4th of July? Is it one of your favorite holidays? Do you spend it alone or with friends and family?

I'll be focusing more on this blog

 I've been writing here and there on this blog...but I want to try to put out more content. I'm usually so busy with YouTube, that it's hard to find the energy to post here.

But since this is my main blog...I want to try to post more. I want to be as active on here as I am on YouTube. 

I love blogging

I believe I can do it. I just have to pace myself.

Thankfully, blogging is a lot less stressful than YouTube. Creating videos and editing them and stuff takes a lot of work.

Blogging is enjoyable

Blogging takes work too, but something about it seems less stressful.

Writing is therapeutic for me…so sometimes I enjoy it more than making videos. Blogging is great for just getting things off your chest.

An entire brand

I also just want to keep focusing and building my blog for branding purposes. 

So expect more posts on here from me in the near future!

It's election day here in the U.S. (blog post)

 It's election day here in the U.S…it's really just another normal day, except you can feel the excitement/energy in the air.

People are really nervous about who is going to become president. It honestly doesn't matter to me too much who becomes president.

Politics?

I don't really get into politics that much. I mean, I do care about the future of our country, but I don't like picking a side because then you end up with a lot of people against you.

If I do ever pick a side, I'm not going to post it online anywhere, because of trolls and all that. There will always be people who disagree with you, and that's ok.

Let's all get along

Anyway, I am honestly curious to see who becomes the next President. I really can't say for sure. But this is an important election for our country. 

The course of history can literally be changed depending on who gets elected. That's pretty powerful. I just hope whoever wins, it is what's best for us and our country.

I trust God and I trust that everything will work out for the best.

An update about my life (and the blog)

I've been around, as you can see… I've posted a few things to the blog. Mostly YouTube videos of mine. I love sharing them here with you guys.

But I don't always write a lengthy post with a video… I just don't always have time to do that. But anyway, I'm still around.

I've just been kind of taking a break from online stuff…not completely, just for the most part. Just trying to clear my head and come back refreshed.

I have a habit of being a workaholic

That's good in some ways because it helps you get farther, but it's not good for your health.

That's why I've been kind of taking a break. I haven't uploaded that many YouTube videos or blog posts.

Haven't even updated my meme page that much! It's weird not being super active online…just being more of a lurker.

But I just love the internet in general…even if I'm not "actively posting" or whatever. Anyway, I'm getting back into emo stuff.

I'm so glad MCR is back together

I never knew if they would or not. I do have an emo side, although I have many sides.

Anyway, I feel like I'm just rambling. So I'll talk to you guys soon, :) remember to believe in something…without belief there is nothing.

i need to let off stress (blog post)

I have a lot of stress. I need to let it out. It's not good to carry all that around. The holidays stressed me out. It will be over soon. I love the holiday season, though, even though it's stressful.

Too much stress is bad.

I love the Christmas spirit. It's pretty awesome. I spend a lot of time alone these days. I don't know if I'll spend Christmas alone or not. I guess we'll see.

Relaxing

I'm enjoying some downtime, not really doing much. Just relaxing. It's good for you to relax and take care of yourself.

Finally getting my YouTube channel going…I have a few videos up now. It's going pretty great :). Going to try to blog more.

Breaks are good

I need to learn to just stop doing so much. I'm constantly working and doing stuff online, or just trying to do too much in general.

If I could learn to relax more, I'd be a lot happier. That is truly the way to a good life, I think we can all agree on that. Too much stress is bad for us.

Happy New Year..2019!

It's a new year...we're in the future! It's 2019! I'm super excited about this year. It's already amazing. It's going to be the best year ever. I can already feel it.

It's just all-around good vibes. I'm going to try to blog more. I love blogging. I miss doing it regularly like I used to. So I'm going to try to do that more.

What I've been up to

I've been YouTubing a lot. There's a balance. I'm going to try to stay more positive this year and complain less.

Update

It's now 2022, as I revisit this blog post. Wow, a lot of things have changed in the last 3 years. It's amazing how fast time flies. But I'm very grateful for everything.

Life is really amazing if you think about it. There's always so much to be grateful for. No matter what year you're in, whenever New Year's Day comes around, you can start fresh.

Having an ice storm in winter 2017 (My thoughts)

There is supposedly a really big ice storm coming in Missouri and throughout the midwest over the weekend.

I'm really thankful that I have a warm home to stay in. Many people don't even have that. It always helps to have perspective.

Things could always be worse. I'm praying for all of the homeless people, I hope they make it through this and have somewhere to go.

I hope people are safe traveling too. They are saying there's going to be a fair amount of ice accumulating on the roads.

It will be kind of nice to stay inside all weekend. Hopefully the ice won't be as bad as they say. This is our first major winter storm of 2017.

Spring is not even that far off. The last few days, it actually got up around 60 degrees here in Missouri!

That's really warm for the middle of January. I love living in Missouri, even if the weather is all over the place.

If you're reading this, don't travel unless you really have to, the roads are going to be slick!
