But having all of them together was definitely something special. They just had this chemistry. Like in the Donut Disaster video..that is my favorite Board James.
Bootsy is so hilarious. He's really what made Board James so good in my opinion. Even if just he came back I'd be happy.
But they had their differences. It really sucks because imagine if they had stayed friends and kept making videos.
It sucks to let business differences get in the way of a true friendship. That's something I wish no one had to go through.
When they started the channel, they had the best intentions. Things were so good.
Here are my thoughts on Cinemassacre putting out a lower quantity of videos lately. Well, it's happened more and more over the last year or so.
Last year, they put out a lot more videos. This year, it seems like there have only been a couple handfuls. Why is this the case?
There is a lot of speculation on the Cinemassacre Truth Subreddit...a lot of people are calling James lazy and saying he doesn't have the passion anymore to make videos.
I don't personally think James is lazy...I think he's extremely burned out…there is a difference.
No time
There is of course the whole "no time" thing.
He always claims to have no time to do videos...and he wants to make a horror movie, but he came out with another video saying he has no time to make the movie.
So the question is…if he really has "no time"..then why is that the case? He hired Screenwave to basically take over the channel.
So what does James do at this point?
I get that he's a family man and all that. But at this point, he's putting his kids over his dream of being a filmmaker.
If he wants to keep making films, he needs to do it while he's still young and has the time. He shouldn't wait until he's 60 to do what he's dreamed of.
-GO FOR IT-
Sometimes you just have to go for it and do the things you want in life. You don't always get a "perfect" opportunity…sometimes you have to create that change yourself.
James has a lot of dreams and goals. He wants to make more films...that is his passion, after all. So he needs to go for it.
But he seems to think he doesn't have time to start. I think he needs to just start somewhere, even if he takes baby steps.
Action steps 👍
You just have to take small action steps sometimes. Every step gets you closer to your goal. Well, this is turning into a motivational piece. Haha.
Where do you think James' passion has gone? It almost seems like he never really wanted to be a YouTuber at all.
But if it wasn't for Mike, would James even be on YouTube? Does James even have a passion for gaming?
MOVIES?
He's said it himself a few times, he's "more of a movie guy". That's his thing, he's into films. He even considers most of his YouTube work to be films.
If that's what he wants to consider, that's fine by me, I don't have a problem with it. Some of those videos though, I would consider "shorts".
It seems like James feels there's something wrong with being labeled a "YouTuber". It's like he doesn't want to be seen as that or associated with it. Why? There's nothing wrong with making videos on YouTube.
Just my thoughts. I don't think James is lazy, but his passion seems to have dried up. Hopefully, he can get it back.
It's summer, guys. It's really, really hot outside. It got up to 90 today. That's plenty hot for me. It makes me miss when the temperature was just kind of mild.
I like mild, cool temperatures the best. Summer is awesome, though, it's just that Missouri summers are SO HOT that it's hard to even go outside in the middle of the day.
On the beach on a hot summer day
I usually try to wait until nighttime to go outside and drive my car anywhere. I love being inside with the air conditioner going. It's awesome.
I love air conditioning
I'm so thankful for AC. I really want to get out and do some stuff this summer…but man it's just so hot outside.
It's ok, I don't really get invited to do that many things anyway. I think people assume I will always say no. That isn't the case.
Enjoy summer while it lasts
I just want to enjoy this summer and not take it for granted. I do love summer, but I also love fall and the cool weather. They both have pros and cons. Cool-weather is nice because you can wear hoodies, and I love those.
It's pleasant to have cool weather, but not too cold. I love summer, too, but it's often too hot to really enjoy it. Sometimes you just want the enjoyable, perfect temperature. But it's always either too hot or too cold.
Even though the "Carole Baskin meme" was last year or whatever, I still say it a lot. It just gets stuck in my head for some reason.
I say it to one of my friends, and they get super annoyed because they're tired of hearing about it.
Remember this TikTok meme?
For some reason, that meme really makes me laugh...I guess it's just the song…it's really catchy and gets stuck in your head.
Story behind the song
The actual song though is about something that isn't really funny. So I feel guilty when I laugh. I sometimes feel bad when someone gets made into a meme, but they didn't really intend for that.
Most people never expect to be memes. But I guess you should take your 15 minutes of fame and run with it.
Also, memes don't ever die, they just keep spreading, so it's okay if it's always stuck in your head!
I don't really hear anyone talking about this meme anymore, but it's still funny to think about. It was one of those fads that didn't really last, like so many viral memes. I love memes and I think they're one of the greatest things ever.
Who knows how many more we'll have over the years. Probably so many. There's a new one every time you turn around!
Just having some Dunkin coffee on a Friday. I love having coffee every day, not just on Fridays. But there is something amazing about Fridays, you have to admit.
It's just so enjoyable to drink. I buy Dunkin K-cups that I can make at home. Thank God for Keurig coffee machines.
I have a regular coffee machine too where you put the grounds in, the old-fashioned way. But the Keurig is nice because it's very convenient. And I love the Dunkin K-cups, they're amazing.
Dunkin, as we're all aware, is a hugely popular brand. They've been one of the biggest coffee chains around for a long time.
Dunkin name change
Did you also notice that they changed their name to just "Dunkin" instead of "Dunkin' Donuts"? That happens a few years back if I'm not mistaken.
Up until a few years ago, I had never even had Dunkin coffee. We never had one in my area…and I never really realized you could buy it from the store.
But then a few years ago, we got a Dunkin coffee...and I finally got to taste it. And let me just say, it has the smoothest taste I've ever had with a coffee.
It's just so easy to drink, and it has such a mild, nice flavor. I'm talking just about their regular black coffee.
I only drink it black. Well, sometimes I'll have creamer or sugar. But rarely. I find all that stuff slows me down.
I like a clean, hot cup of black coffee. And Dunkin coffee, it seems, was made just for me. Haha. Not really, but it is perfect for me.
I was never huge on bitter-tasting, dark coffee. I love light or medium roast, they have a milder flavor.
Coffee is truly a blessing that we should all be thankful for.
I'm not sure why some people are naturally more picky when it comes to coffee. I've never been picky about what kind I'll drink. Even though I prefer black coffee, I'll drink it with cream, sugar, and flavorings as well.
I love hot coffee the most, but iced is very tasty too. I don't remember the first time I had a flavored coffee, but I do remember my first black coffee.
A long time ago
That was in high school. Ever since then, I've loved coffee.
But I didn't really start drinking it heavily until I was in my 30s. In my 20s I drank a lot of tea and soda.
I still drink lots of diet soda and tea as well. But coffee is what usually wakes me up in the morning hours. I can't imagine trying to wake up in the morning and get work done, without a cup of Joe.
It just has the right amount of caffeine to really give me that boost.
I don't honestly drink Dunkin coffee that much these days, even though it is my favorite.
I save it as a special treat. I typically just drink cheap instant coffee. Even instant coffee can taste very good if you buy the right brand. Nescafé Clasico is my favorite instant coffee. I also really love Taster's Choice, that stuff is high quality.
Relatable
I think a lot of us have a special kind of coffee that we drink, or that we save for special occasions. Some people aren't picky, though, and will drink any variety of coffee. It doesn't matter what kind you drink, the "café break" is one of the greatest joys in life.
