Trying to keep my stress down

I've been super stressed out...way more than normal. I've just been trying to do too much. I have to remember that I'm human, and I can only do so much.

Too much stress is bad.

Don't get too stressed

We have our limits. I have to remember mine. I'm trying to take a break from YouTube, which has really been stressing me out. It's just a lot, keeping up with comments, making videos, fixing stuff on my old videos (metadata, etc.).

There's more to it than people realize. I find blogging to be much less stressful. I want to blog more. I really need to.

Stress relieving activities

I need to get back to when I was blogging every day, I miss that. There's no reason why I can't do it. Blogging is my true passion besides making videos. I just love making content in general.

Drake's "care package" (my thoughts on the album)

Drake just released "care package" it's a collection of some of his greatest songs. Wow. He is a legend for sure. He's the goat. I love Drake's music.

How could you not? People are going crazy over this album. 

UPDATE 2021: 

I still listen to Drake now and then, but not a lot. It really just depends on if I'm in the mood or not.

I usually listen to other stuff…but like I said it depends. A lot of times I listen to whatever pops up in my recommendations on YouTube.

But like I said, Drake is a legend for sure

He's been making classic music for a long time. He has really carved himself out a spot in the music industry.

Think about how popular he got in just a few years. I don't hear a lot from him nowadays, but maybe that's because I don't follow a lot of current music.

I just listen to whatever pops up on YouTube, or whatever pops into my head. I have a lot of the same songs I listen to over and over.

Raising your vibration = good karma

When you vibrate at a higher frequency…you will naturally attract better karma into your life. Things like meditation, yoga, prayer, gratitude, etc. These things all raise your frequency.

Just be happy.

You will attract good karma if you do these things. They will change your whole life! Try it and see if you don't believe me.

Simple things work

Even just adding something simple like meditation can change your entire life. Good karma is only a step away.

Raising your vibration will change your whole life. You will attract superb things into your life, guaranteed.

Positivity is best

You have to learn to live with a positive mindset. High vibes are also equal to good karma. When you vibrate higher, you'll have better karma and a better life. I think everyone is striving for a better life, at the end of the day. So anything you can do to achieve that, is a good thing.

Chill in the fridge for one hour (funny meme)

"When you're cooking and the recipe says, chill in the fridge for one hour". Excuse me while I just chill in the fridge for exactly one hour. I love chilling in the fridge, it's so awesome. Don't you? I followed the directions when I was cooking…and look where I ended up.

I love the fridge

This fridge is awesome, I love it. It's so comfortable and cool. You should try doing this as well..you will be surprised at how fun it is.

This is a good place to relax.

This meme is honestly very funny. I love creative stuff like this. Whoever thought of this...well done, my friend.

This is something I could maybe see myself doing, to be funny. Except I probably wouldn't because I probably wouldn't fit inside a fridge like this. But this meme is so funny nevertheless.

This is one example of why I love viral memes so much. Memes like this make me laugh a lot. I love how literal this is.

My thoughts about Google and YouTube algorithm updates (blog)

Google and YouTube update their algorithms a lot. I'm not complaining or anything…it is kind of hard to keep up with sometimes. There's so much you have to keep up with.

Since it changes a lot…you have to adjust your YouTube channel or blogs to keep up with the changes. Most of the fundamentals stay the same though.

How to please the algorithms

If you make content that people enjoy…that's what really matters. If people respond to it, then the algorithms will as well.

That's the basic rule. Just make content for people. When the algorithms change it won't affect you because people will still respond. A lot of the algorithms are based on "user signals" such as views, likes, shares, comments, etc.

User engagement matters

If you get a lot of that stuff it will help you out a TON. That's all you really need to do is get people responding to your stuff.

Samsung: "We just developed the first foldable phone" (meme)

I might start posting memes again on this blog..I think I used to a long time ago..but it's been a long time since I have.

Here I'll just post one right now.

This one is so true. We had foldable phones for a long time. They still make them actually. I had a flip phone for a long time, I was late getting a smart phone. Most people already had one by the time I got one.

Flip phones are cool in some ways. You can't break them as easy or mess up the screen. But I love smart phones I couldn't imagine life without one now.

I love watching LivePD (and the show was cancelled)

I love LivePD..it's probably my favorite show on TV. right now. I watch it every weekend. Ghost Adventures is my other favorite, and Dead Files.

What a great show

I love paranormal shows. Live PD is so fun to watch. It's 3 hours long too, which I love. And it comes on 2 nights in a row!

UPDATE 2021: LivePD went off the air a year or two ago (I think in 2019) since I wrote this post. I really miss that show.

It was my favorite cop show for a long time. I had so many good memories with it. Sadly, they pulled it off the air. 

Why it was pulled off the air

I guess they had issues when all that police stuff was happening in the news. So for legal reasons, they ended it.

I don't see what it was hurting, but oh well.

Now I watch the show COPS on TV a lot. It's my favorite cop show now. I love watching COPS. The same type of deal as LivePD.

We're all aware of the show COPS. It's a great show and is always awesome. I support our people in blue!

Summer is flying by! (rambling blog post)

Summer seems to be going quick. I don't want it to be over. Technically, we have until Sep. 22nd, though. A lot of people consider summer over at the end of August.

Don't you love summer?

It's been a great summer so far. I got my first strike on my YouTube channel (ever). So I can't upload videos for a week! A whole week! It sucks.

I love making videos

It's really hard not to make videos, lol. I'm so used to it. But I need a break anyway, so this is excellent for me.

It's like the universe knows I needed a break. So it's helping me out. Maybe I should just blog! I need to blog more anyway.

I will never let too much time pass between blog posts. Blogging is my first passion and love, after all.

Anyway, I hope you guys are enjoying your summer. One thing I wanted to do was go swimming, but I haven't found anyone to go with yet this summer. It makes me kind of sad.

Hopefully, I will get to go. I've been inside mostly this summer because it's been so hot. But I had some great fun at my cousin's place on the 4th of July…that was really fun. We shot off fireworks, barbecued, etc.

Keywords are the foundation of internet marketing

If I could tell anyone starting out online…whether it's YouTube, blogging, email marketing, affiliate marketing…etc…I would tell them this one thing. Learn how to use keywords to attract traffic from search engines.

Keywords are free promotion

Long tail keywords are the best form of free promotion you are going to find. If you use keywords correctly, your blog, YouTube channel, Twitter account, Instagram, etc., will all show up in Google searches, and you will get a lot of visitors to them.

No matter what you're trying to do, whether it's grow a YouTube channel, blog, or email list, you need to use keywords; otherwise, most people will not be able to find you.

They are a great marketing tool

Keywords will help you grow big…for free. They are completely free. You just have to take the time to do the research. The rest after that is easy…just sit back and watch your websites grow! One of my biggest regrets is that I didn't learn the importance of keywords earlier in my marketing.

I made a new lighting setup for making YouTube videos

I made myself a better lighting setup for my YouTube videos. I should have done it a long time ago. I basically bought one of those halogen work lights. They're around 10 bucks at Walmart. They are made for construction projects, I'm pretty sure.

They are super bright, and they give great lighting...I already made a few videos, and they look super high-quality.

Now I can be an actual professional YouTuber and take it seriously. Everyone needs to have great lighting for their videos at the very minimum. It makes a night-and-day difference in the quality of your videos.

Lighting helps videos rank better

It even helps them rank higher in the algorithm if they are of higher quality!

I've got a home office that doubles as my YouTube studio. I've got a backdrop now and everything. I've also got a camera tripod and ring light now that doubles as a tripod as well. 

Focusing on quality

I feel like taking things more seriously, people can definitely tell you put in more effort. That's especially true for YouTube and blogging.

People and algorithms both respond when you put in more effort. And with YouTube, lighting definitely makes all the difference.
