Feeling thankful..almost the weekend!

It's almost the weekend. I'm in a really good mood. I realized today that I worry too much about things that don't even matter.

I'm feeling very thankful today.

It's part of my OCD stuff that I have. Sometimes I worry myself into anxiety attacks. It's not healthy. But sometimes I can't help it.

I stress myself out

But I realized today that life is good and you don't need to worry because everything always works out. It's really true.

Just enjoy life and see where it takes you. I'm thankful it's the weekend. I hope it's a really good one. This week has been kind of long.

How I feel about people disabling comments (on Youtube)

Yeah, I can't stand it when people disable comments. I don't think it makes much sense. Unless you're just getting an absurd amount of trolls. Trolls can definitely be very annoying, I definitely understand. 

But I'm not sure if disabling comments entirely is the way to go.

You can, it is definitely one option. But you shouldn't be so concerned with what trolls have to say about you. Their opinion doesn't matter at all. 

It really doesn't.

You have to learn to just ignore them, especially if you want to be a Youtuber. Trolls are just a part of the game.

It's kind of annoying when I see a YouTube channel that has comments disabled. Comments are how you build a community around your channel. They are an important part of the whole thing.

UPDATE: It doesn't matter too much to me if people have comments disabled on their channel, to each their own. I do still feel they're important, as I did when I first wrote this post, but I understand some people might not want them because of trolls.

It's October again, time for Halloween (blog post)

It's October again..time for Halloween pretty soon! I'm really excited about it. One of my favorite things to do on Halloween is watch horror movies.

Samhain is one of my favorite holidays, next to Christmas. It's such a spooky time of year, I just love the whole vibe of it all. I love all the paranormal stuff you watch and hear about this time of the year.

My YouTube channel is doing well, and I'm really thankful for that. I've cut back on making videos, though. I'm trying to relax and take away my stress.

This online stuff can get really stressful sometimes. But it's ok. I love what I do. Always will!

It's still super hot here in Missouri. Our summers last super long, so even though it's not summer, it still feels like it.

We're in a summer heat wave (blog post)

I know the heat is apparently bad in a lot of places right now. LA for one. But try adding Missouri humidity to it!

We have a special kind of heat here. The "mugginess" makes it feel wayyyy hotter than it actually is. I can stand dry heat, but the humid kind can be very hard to deal with.

But I'm not saying it's not hot in LA...119 is pretty crazy!! Will be praying for ya'll. This summer seems to be hot for pretty much everyone.

What I am doing this summer

I am staying inside for the most part. I walked up to Sonic and got a sweet tea. I needed something to cool off.

I love sweet tea in the summer. Nothing like it! This summer has started off great so far! It's going to be an awesome one.

I'm feeling thankful

I have to sign my lease again for my apartment here in a week or so. Wish me luck. It's a pretty quick, easy process, actually.

Summer update and what's been going on (blog post)

It's been a pretty good summer so far...I'm not complaining. I've had a little bit of depression, but that's normal. My stepdad died a couple of weeks ago, which was right about a year after my Mom died. So I'm still mourning both of them. It's hard, but I'm getting through it.

I'm just trying to relax and enjoy my summer. It's been really hot here, but I'll take that over cold weather. Oh yeah, and I got approved into the YouTube partner program again!

Update 2022: 

I still love summer, but in recent months, after this past summer, I realized I'm not as much of a summer person as I thought. 

I still love it, but I realized that I'm more of a cool-weather type of person. Which is why I love fall and winter so much.

Maybe it's because that's when I was born. Don't get me wrong, I don't love really cold weather, but cool and mild is very nice. I also am not in the YouTube monetization program anymore, sadly. Hoping to get there again one day, but who knows.
