Why I love Infinite Waters (diving deep) on youtube

Infinite Waters has been a major life changer for me. I've been watching his channel on and off since like 2011 or somewhere around there.

He's been doing it for a long time. He's probably my favorite spiritual channel if I had to choose just one. And the reason I love his videos so much is that he's genuine.

He's kind and generous

You can tell he really loves to help people. And he's truly a positive person. A lot of people claim to be positive, but they really are still negative.

We need light in the world, and Ralph is one of the best sources of light that we have. He truly loves changing the world.

He's helped changed the world

And he has made such an impact on millions of people. He has made such a huge change in the world, spreading love and light.

We need people like him on YouTube and just on the internet in general. He's been a huge inspiration for me and really kept me moving along my spiritual journey. He deserves all the success he has acquired.

I truly wish him the best and hope he keeps going, inspiring millions. Thanks for everything, Ralph.

I'm recovering from a head injury (blog post)

I hit my head a few days ago, pretty hard. I'm not sure if it was a concussion or not. But it really hurt, and it was sore for a few days after.

Ever since I hit my head, I've been a little "fuzzy". It's harder to think clearly. I'm trying to take it easy, which is the advice I was given by a good friend.

A man holding his head in pain

What doctors say

I've heard you're not supposed to work out/exercise too much after hitting your head. I hope I don't have any brain damage.

Likewise, I just hope I feel like I'm back to normal sometime soon. It's kind of felt as if I have been dreaming this whole time.

It's pretty cool…but I would like to be able to focus again like I used to.

UPDATE NOV. 2021:

I seem to be doing fine after my injury. It's been quite a few months since it happened.

I hopefully didn't do any permanent damage. I'm hoping. If I did, I might never know. I've had problems focusing for a long time, so it's hard to tell.

A closer look

Head injuries can be serious, though, so definitely be careful. It's not something you want to play around with. You should probably get it checked out if you ever have that issue.

People taking hours and hours to text back (blog post/rant)

This is extremely frustrating. Especially when...if you first started talking, the person texted you right back within a couple of minutes each time.

But then after a while, they slowly start taking longer and longer to text back…to the point where they're taking literally hours to reply each time. You might as well not even be talking at that point, right?

I mean, if they're taking longer and longer to write back...what's the point of even talking?

I get it, but still

I get that people are busy, I truly do. But when it's a pattern of repeated late replies...it's just toxic, and it's like a mind game.

Nobody has time to sit and wait hours for a reply.

I go on about my life…knowing that they'll take hours to reply. But in the back of my mind, it's just driving me crazy.

Not good for you

Because it's just a toxic situation.

I feel the best thing to do with people like that is just slowly stop responding to them. Just become a ghost.

Eventually you have to just stop replying. It's the only way to "win" in that situation. Otherwise, you'll sit there and be driven crazy by their mind games.

My thoughts about late replies while texting (they suck)

Getting late replies while texting/messaging someone really sucks. Of course, we all know, it happens all the time in our current time.

But I still can't seem to get used to it. Because I know that it's rude. There are times when people truly are busy and can't reply, I get that.

A person text messaging on a mobile phone
Do you reply late while texting?

But when it becomes a pattern with someone you're talking to, I think it's time to cut the cord. It happens to me all the time, with friends, family…or anyone. 😑

It's just frustrating

Sometimes people take a full day to respond…or more…which is very frustrating. It makes you feel like you're just not a priority in their life.

It makes me feel like complete dirt when people do this to me constantly. I honestly don't have a single person in my life who gets back to me in a timely fashion. I have people that occasionally will respond quickly, but the overall pattern has become to wait hours to message me back.

Do people care anymore?

It just sucks. I wish we could go back to where people actually cared about responding. I feel like so many people just don't care anymore.

Some people don't care if they screw up their relationships…that's sad. But usually, it's only when you've walked out of their life and had enough of their mind games…that's when they finally realize what they had.

And yes…replying late on a regular basis is a mind game. You should probably stay away from people who do this type of thing, for your own mental health. That's what I do. I just avoid them.

After an argument, you have to give people space

Specifically, I'm talking about disagreements with someone. It could be a friend, partner, or family member.

We all have disagreements from time to time. Things can get quite heated sometimes. The best thing to do is give people their space.

Making things better

Ever noticed that when you argue with someone, and you stop talking for a while…suddenly you're not mad anymore after time has passed?

You forget all the bad things that happened...because you just miss that person. Being away from someone can make you both realize that you do need each other.

Sometimes space is good

Arguments sometimes happen to "test" the relationship. To see how strong it is.

If you make it through, and you're still friends, then it was a strong, real friendship. If you don't…then it wasn't real…and now you found out that, so you can move on and find REAL relationships.

Arguments are nothing to get upset about…you just give it some space and usually everything will work itself out.

A part of life

I really wish there was a way to avoid arguments; I don't really like them. But they're just a part of life and having relationships with people. Things can't be happy and perfect all the time.

What's the "point" of the Cinemassacre Truth subreddit?

Someone on the sub made a post with an interesting question, saying "What's the point of all this?"

Meaning, what's the point of all the discussion. People were chiming in saying that the point is the same point as any other Subreddit. To discuss things about the topic in question.

I do feel there's a lot of hate there...and trolling…but there is also a group of genuine fans of Cinemassacre who wishes it would go back to the way it was.

My love for Cinemassacre

I am still a fan myself. I do miss how it used to be. It's hard to get used to it now, I'll admit. But that doesn't mean I'm not still a fan.

As far as the sub, I usually just stay quiet in there. I'm not one to start drama at all...I usually stay out of it if I can.

I usually just watch what people post there. There is some really interesting debate that goes on in there. It is really fun just to see everything people say.

Most "truthers" are long time fans

I don't agree with all the hate, though...I feel like people need to lighten up on James and Mike and the other guys.

Of course, things have changed, but let's not be mean about things.

But as far as saying "What's the point" I do agree there's no point in sitting there bashing them. But as long as we have the internet we'll have forums and places like Reddit with free and open discussion.

My original inspiration for blogging, John Chow

I wanted to talk about how I got into blogging. I first saw some blogs on the internet around 2009 and that's when I created my first blog.

I think they were just people talking about their lives or something, just you know, blogs.

The word "blog" spelled out in tiles
Isn't blogging great?

At some point not long after I discovered John Chow's blog. John Chow had a blog that was unique and groundbreaking.

His blog design was amazing

The way he had the ads positioned, and the affiliate links built into the blog underneath the header, it really blew my mind.

His original blog design was unique, I had never seen anything like it.

He really paved the way for bloggers and showed us what was possible.

He is in the "make money online" space of the internet. Furthermore, he is part of what got me into internet marketing as well as blogging.

Got an idea from him

I decided at some point that I wanted to be like John and build my blog into a real business.

He is what inspired me to start my own blog on WordPress (I think that was in 2010). I don't have that blog anymore but man I had some great times with it.

I'm more of a blogger guy personally. Blogger (Blogspot) is the first blogging platform I ever used..so it has a special place in my heart.

I love blogging with Google

I'm thankful to be back on Blogger. Not only that, but I might not still be blogging if it wasn't for John Chow and his money-making blog.

He really showed me that you can turn blogging into a real, full-time business. John Chow is a legend and an inspiration for all of us bloggers and internet marketers.

If you're going to learn from anyone when it comes to how to blog, John is the guy you want to learn from. His advice will take you much further than many other people out there.

Thoughts on the "new" Cinemassacre

Has Cinemassacre changed? Well, yes. I've made YouTube videos about this, so I wanted to write a proper blog post about it.

Cinemassacre has changed over the years…there's no question about it. It seems that a lot of people are unhappy with the direction the channel/company has gone in…over the last 10 years or so.

Have things changed?

Ever since Bootsy and Kyle left, things haven't "quite" been the same. That's pretty apparent.

The "newer" fans seem to be perfectly ok with it, at least most of them.

I personally am still a big fan of them. However, I do really miss the way things used to be. I miss Bootsy more than anyone, probably.

And don't forget...

Kyle as well. They were such an integral part of the company and the videos. Even though they weren't in that many episodes, they definitely left their mark on us all. And are still in our hearts and minds.

The most notable changes have happened not only with Kyle and Bootsy leaving but also with the introduction of the Screenwave guys.

I personally haven't watched too much of these guys, so I can't really give an honest opinion…but I will say that the videos have a different "feel" to them now.

Except for the ones with just James and Mike. Those feel like classic Cinemassacre.

People don't like the new stuff?

A lot of people complain about the corporate feel of the new videos, and people say that James doesn't seem like his passion is there anymore.

I kind of agree, he seems like not the same energetic, passionate guy we once knew. Maybe he has lost his passion for making videos?

I don't really know. But I guess he hasn't been the same since he made the movie…at least that's what a lot of people are saying.

The truth sub

People on the Cinemassacre Truth Subreddit really get deep into this subject. I follow that sub and there is some good and bad there.

I feel like a lot of people are too hard on James and Mike. I feel like they're doing the best they can. It would be hard to run a company like that and still find time to make content yourself, which is why they hired the Screenwave guys.

It's all part of it

It's just part of growing a company. But yes, I honestly do miss when it was just the original group, and it felt like just a bunch of great friends making videos together.

It just seems like they had more fun back then. But I'll always be a fan. Who knows, maybe things could still go back to how they were.

Update 2024:

I believe the Screenwave crew still works for the Cinemassacre company and channel, but they no longer appear in any videos on the channel. They made that decision a year or two ago. I'm not sure why exactly they stopped appearing in videos, but they did.

Now, they apparently just help run things behind the scenes, which is fine by me.

Taking time to enjoy life (blog post)

That's exactly what I've been doing lately. Trying not to work too hard on blogging, YouTube, social media, etc.

I've just been trying to take time to take it easy. Working all the time is not good. It's not healthy. Humans need downtime where they just don't do anything.

Just relax

Just time to be lazy and enjoy life. Work/life balance.

Everything in life is about balance. You don't want to overdo things.

This woman is enjoying life!

The balance will keep you peaceful and happy…and healthy.

So it's been very nice, just relaxing. Plus, I've had a little cold the last couple of days, so I'm trying to rest up. Once I'm done with my "break" I'll get back into things full force...such as blogging and making YouTube videos.

A woman holding a leaf and being happy
Do you stop and enjoy life?

I'm overwhelmed

I have a lot on my plate, so I'm trying to pace myself. Pacing yourself can be easier said than done, but it is definitely possible. The happiest people achieve balance in life. It's not always that easy to gain balance, you kind of have to work at it sometimes.

But it can be done if you work at it. Just learn to relax sometimes and not work all the time. Relaxing is good for you, and so is enjoying life, in general. Life is meant to be enjoyed, instead of stressing all the time.

Always be kind (life advice)

You should always be kind to people, no matter what. This is general life advice that applies to everyone. Not every piece of advice applies to everyone in life, that's not how life works.

But this one piece of advice is well-suited for everyone, no matter who you are. Always be kind. You never know what people are going through. And people get hurt easily sometimes.

That's why you should take care when you're speaking to people and interacting with them. We're not perfect, we get in bad moods and stuff...but at least try to be as nice as possible.

It's great karma, and it comes back to you!

And then you'll have a great life because you have so much good karma! Won't that be great?

Think about whenever you're talking to someone…you expect them to be kind to you, right? It's just naturally what you expect.

Because it's how people should act.

So you should act the same way back towards them. And like I said about good karma, you need lots of good karma in your life because it determines how your life will pan out.

Being nice to everyone will give you the good karma that you need in life.
