New year, fresh start! (let's blog about it)

It's officially a new year, 2017. Can you believe it? 2016 was rough in more ways than one. For all of us, not just some of us. It must have been something in the stars.

We lost a lot of amazing people, and the year just kind of felt like an uphill battle. 

But I can say that it wasn't all bad

In fact, if you put a positive spin on it, 2016 was actually a really great year. A lot of really amazing things happened as well.

There is always a blessing in every situation

I learned a lot, and I grew a lot, but now it's time for a fresh start.

In 2017, I'm going to leave the baggage in the past. I'm letting go of all of the negativity and nonsense that was holding me back previously.

I think we should all do that

That's what New Year's is about: having a fresh start and starting over! It's a great opportunity that none of us should waste.
