Why you should remove stress from your life

Sometimes you have to do things to remove stress from your life. So in trying to do that, I deleted a few of the blogs that I had. They were smaller blogs, I didn't really have a lot of people reading them or anything.

I had too many blogs, so I couldn't focus on all of them. Now my main blogs are this one and my YouTube channel website.

I feel like in life, doing less is oftentimes more. It's not good to spread yourself too thin. It adds extra stress to your life. So I am trying to remove stress. I already have enough blogs, YouTube channels, social media, etc.

I'm trying to focus on "less is more"

When you have too much going on, it can quickly become overwhelming. That's what you don't want.

Minimalism is the key. It's the whole Buddhist mindset thing. Feng shui and all that. Get rid of clutter and make things simple.

Doing too much is highly overrated. It's really not good to try to spread yourself thin. It really doesn't help anything.

When you keep things minimal and simple, your mind is nice and clear. And a clear mind leads to a lot of happiness. Happiness is always the goal in life. A simple life is a happy one.

That's a good mantra to have

I love anything that has to do with feng shui or Buddhism. Buddhism talks a lot about keeping things simple, especially when it comes to possessions.

Buddhist monks live with very little, and they're super happy about it. Don't you want to be happy like that?

You don't have to get rid of everything, but the less clutter you have in your life, the better off you'll be. Just something to help you out.

Being lighter

You'll overall just feel lighter and more free when you have less clutter in your life and less stress. It's good for your mental health. Being a happier person is one of the goals in life, and you will definitely achieve that.

Many people realize they need to de-stress and simplify their life, but they might not know where to begin. If you're one of those people, don't worry, you can start with one thing and progress from there. Just remove one small stressor from your life, and things will begin to get better.

Coffee is the elixir of life (I love coffee)

Do you agree that coffee is the elixir of life? Think about how much awesomeness is in one cup of Joe. It is truly the greatest drink.

I do love soda and tea and juice as well, but there's something really special about a cup of Joe in the morning, or anytime.

I love coffee.

Coffee takes away my stress too. If I'm stressed or in a bad mood, I just reach for a cup of the good brew.

☕☕☕

Coffee is a mood booster

It does make me feel better. Coffee is an antidepressant as well. They have shown that in studies, I'm pretty sure. It does have powerful mood-boosting benefits.

That's part of why so many people drink it. It helps get you through your day as well. I can't imagine a day without coffee.

I drink it daily

Every day, I wake up and have some coffee. It gives me that kick-start I need in the early morning hours. It fills me with life and happiness.

It's one of my all-time favorite drinks. Just black coffee does the trick very nicely. I love the taste of coffee just how it is. I don't need anything added.

I'll probably drink coffee every day for a long time. I don't see any reason to stop. And I'll probably keep blogging about coffee, too.

😀😀😀

When was the last time you had some coffee you didn't like? If we're being honest, very rarely. Because coffee tastes amazing most of the time. My love for the drink is immeasurable. I've been a fan of it since I first had it.

Let's all have some

Which reminds me, I think I require some now! I think, no matter what time of day it is, that it's always time for the good brew. I think we can actually all agree on that. Don't you?

How do you get rid of stress?

I've been trying to figure out how to deal with stress and anxiety. I have a really hard time with it. Not only that, but I'm stressed out most of the time. It's not healthy.

A stressed out man at a desk
I need to learn to relax more.

No one should be stressed out all the time. I do have relaxing time periods where I take breaks…but I need to learn to manage my stress better.

Stress can be unhealthy

I hate having to get frustrated and let my stress out in unhealthy ways. I need to find healthier coping mechanisms.

Being in the public image with blogging, YouTube, social media etc…can be extremely stressful. There's just something about putting yourself out there that can be very hard at times. Most people don't understand that.

Working online can be stressful

Working from home has its own set of stresses, just like anything else. Putting yourself out there on the internet is not for everyone.

It can be very hard sometimes. So that's where a lot of my stress comes from. How do you deal with stress? We all definitely have our own methods of dealing with it. Share your thoughts in a comment below. Thanks for reading.

Isn't coffee amazing?

I love coffee. It's so amazing in so many ways. Coffee is the way to my heart. I started drinking coffee in high school. I still remember the first time I had coffee. I was in a hospital at the time, and I was in the cafeteria, and I got a coffee out of one of the machines.

Ever since then, I loved it.

However, I went through a long time when I didn't drink that much of it. But then, maybe 10 years ago or so… I started really getting into it.

A photo of Santa Claus drinking coffee
The good brew is amazing.

Ever since then, I have drunk it basically every day.

Every now and then I'll skip a day, but I drink it most days. I just drink instant coffee these days for the most part.

I love instant coffee as long as it's a good quality kind. If you get the cheap instant coffees, they don't really taste that good.

A better cup

If you pay a little more, you get a high-quality cup of coffee, almost like you freshly brewed it.

Coffee helps me function and get my work done easier. It also puts me in a great mood as soon as I drink it. If I don't drink it, I get depressed.

I usually drink either instant coffee...or Dunkin from home. I buy the Dunkin K-Cups. Sometimes I buy the McDonald's McCafe as well.

McCafe is my 2nd favorite

It's right up there with the Dunkin. I'm not picky about coffee though, I'll drink almost any kind.

Some of them I don't like as well…but coffee is coffee, in my opinion. I just love it so much. How could you not?

Coffee generally puts me in a better mood, so I'm better to be around. I'm not typically in a very good mood if I haven't had my cup of Joe.

I'm a daily drinker

So that's why I love to have it every day. Do you drink coffee? What kind do you like?

Some people have specific varieties of coffee they drink, whereas some people, like me, just drink anything they can get their hands on. It's truly a special drink because it's good no matter what type it is. I think most coffee lovers can agree on that.

This amazing drink brings us all together, no matter who we are, or where we come from. It's truly the drink of life, and fills us all with happiness.

Talking about my love for the holidays

I'm thankful it's the holiday season. I didn't really celebrate Halloween that much this year, I just wasn't really in the spirit…no pun intended.

Santa Claus playing the guitar
Santa Claus is awesome.

It's weird because Halloween is usually my favorite holiday…along with Christmas. But I was really depressed this Halloween.

I love the holidays

I didn't do much, though, I just stayed home. I started a horror movie, but I was too depressed to even finish it. So I just did what I normally do and watched YouTube.

😀😀😀

I'm an internet junkie, pretty much. I'm really in the holiday spirit though this year, meaning Christmas and Thanksgiving. I don't know if I'll be spending it with anyone, but it's ok if I don't.

I will still enjoy it

I just love Christmas and Thanksgiving. The whole entire holiday season is full of so much warmth and love. You can really feel the Holy Spirit. It's amazing.

And hopefully you can spend these times with someone you love, that makes it even better. Spending the holidays alone can be good in its own way. There are pros and cons to each scenario. But no matter how you spend the holidays, you can find a way to enjoy it. It's all about that good feeling you get.

Struggles lead to blessings (inspirational post)

If you're struggling in life... I understand. I am struggling too. Life can be very hard sometimes. But I want to remind you that after struggles…you will have some of the best blessings of your life.

That's always how it goes. Especially if you're a truly good person. After the storm, comes the sun. Struggles lead to blessings.

Life has a way of rewarding you for going through difficulty.

NEVER STOP

I have seen it over and over again. Whatever you're going through, just hang in there.

Things will get better. You will have more blessings than you ever thought possible. Do not give up, ever. There is a certain magic in never giving up.

A person holding their hands open during sunset

When you keep going, even when it seems like you can't, the Universe and God love seeing your effort. They will reward you for your faith and for hanging in there.

Remember, struggles are only temporary.

EVEN BAD TIMES PASS 😀

When things are bad, they will not last. Just like a storm, it eventually will pass.

If things aren't better yet, then don't give up, because it's not the end. Have faith in life because it can surprise you in amazing ways!

More blessings are waiting for you than you could ever imagine, my friend.

It's election day here in the U.S. (blog post)

It's election day here in the U.S…it's really just another normal day, except you can feel the excitement/energy in the air.

People are really nervous about who is going to become president. It honestly doesn't matter to me too much who becomes president.

Politics?

I don't really get into politics that much. I mean, I do care about the future of our country, but I don't like picking a side because then you end up with a lot of people against you.

If I do ever pick a side I'm not going to post it online anywhere, because of trolls and all that. There will always be people who disagree with you, and that's ok.

Let's all get along

Anyway, I am honestly curious to see who becomes the next President. I really can't say for sure. But this is an important election for our country.

The course of history can literally be changed depending on who gets elected. That's pretty powerful. I just hope whoever wins, it is what's best for us and our country.

I trust God and I trust that everything will work out for the best.

Why I love Infinite Waters (diving deep) on YouTube

Infinite Waters has been a major life changer for me. I've been watching his channel on and off since like 2011 or somewhere around there.

A happy peaceful woman in nature

He's been doing it for a long time. He's probably my favorite spiritual channel if I had to choose just one. And the reason I love his videos so much is that he's genuine.

He's kind and generous

You can tell he really loves to help people. And he's truly a positive person. A lot of people claim to be positive, but they really are still negative.

We need light in the world, and Ralph is one of the best sources of light that we have. He truly loves changing the world.

He's helped changed the world

And he has made such an impact on millions of people. He has made such a huge change in the world, spreading love and light.

We need people like him on YouTube and just on the internet in general. He's been a huge inspiration for me and really kept me moving along my spiritual journey. He deserves all the success he has acquired.

I truly wish him the best and hope he keeps going, inspiring millions. Thanks for everything, Ralph.

I'm recovering from a head injury (blog post)

I hit my head a few days ago, pretty hard. I'm not sure if it was a concussion or not. But it really hurt, and it was sore for a few days after.

Ever since I hit my head, I've been a little "fuzzy". It's harder to think clearly. I'm trying to take it easy, which is the advice I was given by a good friend.

A man holding his head in pain

What doctors say

I've heard you're not supposed to work out/exercise too much after hitting your head. I hope I don't have any brain damage.

Likewise, I just hope I feel like I'm back to normal sometime soon. It's kind of felt as if I have been dreaming this whole time.

It's pretty cool…but I would like to be able to focus again like I used to.

UPDATE NOV. 2021:

I seem to be doing fine after my injury. It's been quite a few months since it happened.

I hopefully didn't do any permanent damage. I'm hoping. If I did, I might never know. I've had problems focusing for a long time, so it's hard to tell.

A closer look

Head injuries can be serious, though, so definitely be careful. It's not something you want to play around with. You should probably get it checked out if you ever have that issue.

People taking hours and hours to text back (blog post/rant)

This is extremely frustrating. Especially when...if you first started talking, the person texted you right back within a couple of minutes each time.

But then after a while, they slowly start taking longer and longer to text back…to the point where they're taking literally hours to reply each time. You might as well not even be talking at that point, right?

A cartoon woman texting on a phone
A woman texting.

I mean, if they're taking longer and longer to write back...what's the point of even talking?

I get it, but still

I get that people are busy, I truly do. But when it's a pattern of repeated late replies...it's just toxic, and it's like a mind game.

Nobody has time to sit and wait hours for a reply.

I go on about my life…knowing that they'll take hours to reply. But in the back of my mind, it's just driving me crazy.

Not good for you

Because it's just a toxic situation.

I feel the best thing to do with people like that is just slowly stop responding to them. Just become a ghost.

Eventually you have to just stop replying. It's the only way to "win" in that situation. Otherwise, you'll sit there and be driven crazy by their mind games.

My thoughts about late replies while texting (they suck)

Getting late replies while texting/messaging someone really sucks. Of course, we all know, it happens all the time in our current time.

But I still can't seem to get used to it. Because I know that it's rude. There are times when people truly are busy and can't reply, I get that.

A person text messaging on a mobile phone
Do you reply late while texting?

But when it becomes a pattern with someone you're talking to, I think it's time to cut the cord. It happens to me all the time, with friends, family…or anyone. 😑

It's just frustrating

Sometimes people take a full day to respond…or more…which is very frustrating. It makes you feel like you're just not a priority in their life.

It makes me feel like complete dirt when people do this to me constantly. I honestly don't have a single person in my life who gets back to me in a timely fashion. I have people that occasionally will respond quickly, but the overall pattern has become to wait hours to message me back.

Do people care anymore?

It just sucks. I wish we could go back to where people actually cared about responding. I feel like so many people just don't care anymore.

Some people don't care if they screw up their relationships…that's sad. But usually, it's only when you've walked out of their life and had enough of their mind games…that's when they finally realize what they had.

And yes…replying late on a regular basis is a mind game. You should probably stay away from people who do this type of thing, for your own mental health. That's what I do. I just avoid them.

After an argument, you have to give people space

Specifically, I'm talking about disagreements with someone. It could be a friend, partner, or family member.

We all have disagreements from time to time. Things can get quite heated sometimes. The best thing to do is give people their space.

Making things better

Ever noticed that when you argue with someone, and you stop talking for a while…suddenly you're not mad anymore after time has passed?

You forget all the bad things that happened...because you just miss that person. Being away from someone can make you both realize that you do need each other.

Sometimes space is good

Arguments sometimes happen to "test" the relationship. To see how strong it is.

If you make it through, and you're still friends, then it was a strong, real friendship. If you don't…then it wasn't real…and now you found out that, so you can move on and find REAL relationships.

Arguments are nothing to get upset about…you just give it some space and usually everything will work itself out.

A part of life

I really wish there was a way to avoid arguments; I don't really like them. But they're just a part of life and having relationships with people. Things can't be happy and perfect all the time.

What's the "point" of the Cinemassacre Truth subreddit?

Someone on the sub made a post with an interesting question, saying "What's the point of all this?"

Meaning, what's the point of all the discussion. People were chiming in saying that the point is the same point as any other Subreddit. To discuss things about the topic in question.

I do feel there's a lot of hate there...and trolling…but there is also a group of genuine fans of Cinemassacre who wishes it would go back to the way it was.

My love for Cinemassacre

I am still a fan myself. I do miss how it used to be. It's hard to get used to it now, I'll admit. But that doesn't mean I'm not still a fan.

As far as the sub, I usually just stay quiet in there. I'm not one to start drama at all...I usually stay out of it if I can.

I usually just watch what people post there. There is some really interesting debate that goes on in there. It is really fun just to see everything people say.

Most "truthers" are long time fans

I don't agree with all the hate, though...I feel like people need to lighten up on James and Mike and the other guys.

Of course, things have changed, but let's not be mean about things.

But as far as saying "What's the point" I do agree there's no point in sitting there bashing them. But as long as we have the internet we'll have forums and places like Reddit with free and open discussion.
