That awful moment when you learn (Fresh Prince scene)

Growing up, this was one of my favorite shows ever. I watched it all the time. This is one of the best scenes in the whole series. It was so real and terrible at the same time. To learn that this was a real breakdown and not scripted, makes it even harder to watch. I can relate a lot to this scene because of my childhood. It is crazy to see two actors having such a real moment like that. Makes it that much better if you ask me. 

I will always remember that scene, as will we all. Will Smith has been through a lot and it is evident here.

My bad experience with a YouTube ad network

A few months back, I joined a YouTube Network. Basically, they are a network that pays you out your ad earnings every month from YouTube, and they pay you straight into PayPal.

I still love doing YouTube.

It's great for if you don't want to wait until the minimum withdrawal limit from Google Adsense. The downside is that the network takes a large portion of your earnings.

What happened

In my case, they took 60% of my monthly earnings! That's a lot of money. I ended up getting kicked out of the network for some unknown reason.

So now I'm back with Google Adsense. What I learned in the end is that networks are not really worth your time, and they will just make you earn less from YouTube.

Is Adsense still the best?

You are much better off sticking with Google Adsense. Your channel will need to be bigger for you to withdraw, but in the end it will be worth it.

I am not going to name which network I was with, but I wish them the best. I'm thankful for the experience because it taught me what I don't want. 

Admit when you're wrong (inspirational quote)

I love this quote. We should always learn to admit when we're wrong and shut up when we're right. That's the way it should be. It takes a humble person to do both of those things. Being humble is the best way to live your life. 😅

Nobody likes someone who is full of themselves. So it's always best to be humble. It will take you a lot farther in life.

I have learned this from experience

People will like you a lot more, and you'll have more friends. You don't have to be full of yourself to succeed in life. 

You don't have to brag when you're right

You can actually be quiet about it. And it takes a very big person to admit when you're wrong. Not everybody knows how to do that.

The ones who do have a much better quality of life.

This is an important life lesson.

Why is list building important? (internet marketing secrets)

I used to not understand the importance of building your email list. That is, when I first started out in internet marketing.

It is important for several reasons. You need to have an email list because you own it, and no one can take it away from you.

When you join businesses on the internet, they can always be taken away from you at any time. However, when you build an email list, that IS YOUR BUSINESS!

You own your email list

No one can take it away from you. Ever. You build a relationship with the people on your list. They become your biggest fans and supporters.

They also buy products that you offer them that will help them succeed online. You should always provide value.

It is part of your business

Your email list is so important if you want to build a real internet business. All of your "traffic driving" should be aimed at your email list.

Don't drive traffic directly to affiliate offers and businesses. Channel all your traffic sources to your email list and focus on building that.

Without an email list, you can't really build a real business that YOU OWN. It's super important, as they say, the money is in the list!

Another Snowstorm coming our way? (blog)

Well, it's almost spring or basically has been feeling like spring for a few weeks now. And there is another snowstorm coming this weekend!

That's pretty awesome though. I live in Missouri and we're known for having weather that doesn't make any sense.

It can be snowing one day and warm the next, literally. It's just how our weather has always been. I love it in Missouri though.

I think it's pretty cool that we will get one last taste of snow before winter is officially over. I kind of like when it snows.

A lot of people don't, but there's something about being inside on a snowy day and watching the snowfall. I love it.

I'm thinking it's going to be a really good weekend. So far this week has been pretty good. Some ups and downs, but that's how it usually is.

Start each day with gratitude! (A trick that will change your life)

I learned something that works very well, if you want to have a great life. This trick will let you have a good day EVERY DAY.

Each morning when you wake up, write down 5-10 things that you are grateful for. It could be anything. Good health, your home, your clothing, food.

This sets your vibration in a high state and attracts more good things to you. You will start off each day with a positive vibration of gratitude!

There is not a better way to start your day. When we are grateful for everything, then we attract more good things into our lives.

You can live defeated and depressed all the time, or you can be grateful for what you have. There are so many things to be grateful for.

We just have to remind ourselves how good we actually have it in life. There are ALWAYS people who have it worse off than us.

Remember that. There are people that are homeless that still manage to be grateful for the blessings they have.

And they still start each day with a smile. Make today the day when you shift into gratitude and change your life!

I guarantee your days will get a lot better and things will start going right for you. This trick is so simple but it will have such great results for you.

I started doing this a year or two ago and I have had miracles ever since. Gratitude is like a magnet that attracts all good things to us. Try it out yourself and watch your life change in amazing ways!

It's been rough (and thoughts about blogging more)

Not gonna lie, things have been tough lately. I have been going through a lot. Somehow, I find it in me to just keep going.

That's really all you can do. It's not possible to stay positive all the time, even though I wish it were. It's healthy to have your down times, too.

My mother is dying, she is getting worse every day, and I don't know how much longer she will be alive. I have mixed feelings about it.

People pass away

It's just one of those things that I knew would happen someday. My relationship with her wasn't very good over the years.

Anyways I am hoping things will start looking up soon. I do have a lot to be grateful for, so I have to appreciate all the blessings I have.

God has been so good to me in so many ways. I'm looking forward to a great 2017! I hope this will be the best summer ever.

I want to blog more often

I'm going to try to blog more because I believe it's important. I lost my other blog (it got deleted), so this is my main blog now.

It's a lot easier having only one blog. Now I can focus all my effort on this blog! Which is pretty cool if I must say.
