Why I love retro gaming

Retro gaming has a certain charm to it. There's just something about the 8-bit graphics, and music, and all of that.

I love settling in and playing a good NES, Genesis, or Atari game. I love all retro games, it doesn't matter which console it's from. 8-bit graphics are my favorite, but I also love Atari, 16-bit consoles, and so on.

Retro gaming is amazing

I love new gaming too, but retro is my favorite. There are a lot of people who agree with me. The NES is definitely my favorite console, hands down.

More about the NES

The best-selling game of the NES's lifespan was Super Mario Bros., which spawned a whole franchise of Mario games. The lifespan of the Nintendo was from 1985-1995. In the 90s, games became better because developers knew how to make better use of the hardware.

The NES lives on with millions of people who love to play it on a daily basis. NES games are particularly popular in the speedrunning community.
