Happy Halloween (blog post)

It's that awesome time of year again, and my favorite Holiday! Well that and Christmas. Halloween is here, and you can feel it in the air. It's that time of year when all the ghouls come out to play, and people trick or treat looking for something sweet. AND...horror movies!! My favorite part of Halloween!! I am watching Halloween 2 right now as we speak, and it's Halloween Eve, almost midnight. 

Couldn't think of a more epic way to spend Halloween! I'm not sure if I'm gonna get a mask or anything for tomorrow night, we shall see. Could be fun, as always. I don't know if I'll go anywhere, but at the very least I'm gonna watch horror movies! 

I might even go on a Ghost Hunt since I do love paranormal investigating. It's one of my passions! I'm in a very good mood..and I hope you have an AWESOME HALLOWEEN!!

Feeling blessed (random thoughts)

I took a few vacation days in the city near where I live. It was a nice break. Sometimes we all need a break.

Then I got back to making YouTube videos. I love making videos but sometimes I get burned out on it.

I'm thankful for all my blessings, God is good. It's finally fall but it still feels like summer here in Missouri.

Our weather is so wild here. We don't really have seasons in the same way other places do. It can get warm right in the middle of winter sometimes.

I had someone ask me today about my blog and how he could set one up. I told him blogger.com blogs are awesome.

I've always been a fan of blogger.

Why fixing a bad attitude in life is important (blog post)

A bad attitude can literally block blessings from coming into your life. I have learned this more and more. I have had problems with my attitude for a long time, ever since I can remember.

I am learning as I go along to be more grateful for everything I have. God has been so good to me. Sometimes we just need some perspective, to stop and look around, and realize how good we have it.

When we truly see that, how can we have a bad attitude?

Life is really amazing. You just have to look around. Focus on all the great things you have going in your life. 

Everyone has something to be grateful for. Each and every one of us. Be grateful every day and things will just get better and better for you.

What's considered "selling out"? (making money online)

When it comes to making money online? What would you consider "selling out"? A lot of people think that putting ads on your blog or YouTube videos is selling out.

It's really not. Lots of people make money online from blogging, YouTube, affiliate marketing, and so on.

There's nothing wrong with that. It's a real business for many people. So why do people judge them for that?

I understand some people don't like ads on a website, but realistically, it's commonplace now. Even on YouTube.

Almost every video has ads on it now. People have to make a living. You can't fault them for that. I personally think it's awesome if a blogger is able to make money from it, more power to them!

I don't feel like it's selling out to place ads there. It's just a part of the whole package deal. I don't feel like it takes away from the experience at all in my opinion. 

Being a YouTuber comes with a lot of pressure (quick rant)

I feel like there's all this "pressure" when you're a YouTuber. I guess there's pressure with lots of things in life, but as a YouTuber, there's all this pressure to make "quality content." What does that even mean?

If I make a video that I had fun making and I'm doing what I enjoy, that's all that matters to me. I don't want to be like everyone else on YouTube.

That takes away the fun of it for me. I just want to have fun making the type of videos that I want to make.

I mean sure I can always strive to make my content better, but I'm not going to sell out. I have a passion for making vlog type videos. That's what I like doing.

I need that timesheet ASAP (Office Cat meme)

He is very much a business cat. He's trying to get work done. You have to understand that. He is very professional. Would you expect any less from a true business cat? He works in an office of a large corporation. 

He is very efficient at getting the job done. He knows his business stuff very well. He is a great business cat. He has paperwork on his desk that he's shuffling through. He'll stand outside your office meowing until it's done.

It's pretty popular because it's a cat that works in an office. Just imagine something like that. It's really funny to think about.

This is just another reason why I love internet memes. They make the world go round. When you see one of a cat in a business suit and he's a professional, it really makes you smile.

Summer's not over yet!

A lot of people say that summer is ending. Whenever school goes back into session, a lot of people assume that summer is over. The fact is summer ends on September 22nd. I personally love to enjoy summer as much as possible. Summer is one of my favorite times of the year, so I like to make the most of it.

Just because school is back in session doesn't mean the warm weather and fun are over. I am still celebrating.

Have been hanging out with some really cool people and having some fun. 

Life is good. 

I've been making more YouTube videos on my new channel and that has been fun as well.

I'm going to try to keep the momentum up with this blog and keep posting on it. I appreciate you reading the blog, that's pretty awesome.

I plan on doing some more fun stuff for the rest of the summer. 

I'm going to squeeze as much out of it as possible.

Youtube tags are still important

Do you use tags in your YouTube videos? If you don't, you should be doing this! They are still important and they still help drive more views to your videos. Use tags.

Tags are a tool that has been around for a long time, since the beginning of YouTube. They are an effective way of driving more views to your channel.

There have been studies showing that videos with more tags, get more views overall.

Tags help YouTube know what your videos are about. As long as you don't overuse them or use them the wrong way.

You should only put tags that are directly related to your videos. Otherwise it can hurt your channel. When you use tags the right way, you'll show up more in suggested videos and get more views to your channel. 

They do help a lot with growth. Use them!

A little progress each day

A little progress each day adds up to big results. You just step forward little by little each day. As long as you do something, it doesn't matter how much. Just keep moving forward.

As long as you make small changes to your life and keep building on them, you will keep moving forward and reach your goals. Just keep going and never give up.

You can reach your dreams in life. You really can. Believe in yourself and keep making progress.

New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings

New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings. This is so true. Beginnings can be really awesome. Don't forget that.

Sometimes, when things are beginning and changing into something new, it can be painful. But you have to remember that the old clears out of the way so that the new can come in. 

Take it as a blessing. That's what it is. You want great things to come into your life, so sometimes you have to let go of things that you thought were meant for you.

Not everything is meant for you. Some things have to pass you by..but just know that better things are on their way.

Sometimes losing a person, for example, can be a huge blessing if they are toxic and no good for you. Better people are coming.

The problem with the law of attraction

Now I don't want to be so bold as to say the law of attraction doesn't work at all, but there is a huge problem with it, which I'll discuss.

One of the most basic principles in life is the yin and yang, positive and negative. For everything positive, there is an equal and opposite negative.

It's just how things work. There is no disputing it. You cannot have only positive, or only negative, they both have to exist.

Now think about the law of attraction. It teaches that you should "focus on the good" and hold images in your mind of what you want to attract (good things).

I have tried to practice this myself, and have learned a painful lesson. When you focus on the good, you will always bounce back into the negative.

I have reached some of my greatest depths of depression after "trying" this out. It's like when you stretch out a rubber band, it eventually has to snap back the other way.

That's what is happening when you use the law of attraction. You cannot focus on the good all the time. You CANNOT only have positive thoughts. It is impossible and unnatural. You have to have a mix of positive and negative.

It's just how the universe works.

You must keep going no matter what. There are times in your life when you feel like giving up. It's those times that you can take a rest. 

But you must eventually get back up and keep going. The only way to reach your goals is if you put one foot in front of the other and keep moving.

Every day you can make progress towards your goals. You just have to move a little bit forward each day.

You might not make it overnight, but you will get there eventually. Think of all the people cheering you on! Never give up!

Your attitude matters

It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task that will affect its outcome. This is very true when you have a good attitude when you start something new, you will be a lot more likely to succeed at it. You can't always expect to fail at things. You have to stay positive. At least do your best. Positivity will take you a long way in life.

Just because my path is different

Just because my path is different doesn't mean I'm lost. We are each on our own path in life. We all get to where we're going in a unique way.

My goals are different than yours. Don't judge my situation. I won't judge yours. We all deserve to find happiness in our own way. 

We all have a unique destination that's different from everyone else. It doesn't mean we're on the wrong path or that we're headed in the wrong direction.

Don't let your happiness be controlled

Don't let your happiness be controlled by something you can't control. There are many things in life that we have no control over. You have to decide not to let those things determine how happy you are. 

Your happiness should come from inside you. You have all the happiness you need within. You can choose to be happy at any moment. 

Happiness doesn't come from outside circumstances. Those can change. What doesn't change is what's on the inside.

No matter what happens, you can choose to live in the moment and not let things get to you or bring you down.

4th of July weekend

Have been through some kind of rough things lately but it's ok. I've gotten through it and I'm still alive. I'm thankful it's the 4th of July tomorrow.

This weekend has been awesome. 4th of July is always exciting. Don't have anyone to spend it with this year but that's ok.

It's still a time to be thankful for our freedom and things like that. Thinking of all our Veterans who fought to protect our country too. God bless them.

Haven't done too much this weekend except for watching gaming speedruns on YouTube. That has been really fun and awesome.

Might watch fireworks tomorrow night I haven't decided yet.

First day of summer post!

Well, it's the first day of summer, so I thought I'd do a post to celebrate! I'm super excited about this summer, I have a feeling it's going to be the best one yet. I love summer. I love everything about it.

It's a great time to just relax and have some fun. Especially if you've been working really hard! Summer is a great time to relax with friends, drink cold drinks, enjoy being in the sun, and so forth.

I want to make this summer the best yet. I believe it will be. The beginning of summer is an awesome time.

I always get really excited. Who knows what's around the corner? Amazing things can happen when you believe they will.

I'm hoping to have a lot of fun this summer. I'm sure it will be great. It's already really hot outside. But I'll take that over cold any day!

No matter how you feel...never give up!

In life, we can be tempted to give up many times. Sometimes things don't go the way we had planned. In those times we want to quit. But you can't quit. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up, show up and never give up.

It's when you keep going that miracles happen. You can't give up no matter what happens in life. All the blessings of the Universe can be yours. 

If you keep going no matter what happens, you will be rewarded for your patience and courage. Never give up and keep fighting the good fight, no matter what happens.

I think this quote is awesome. It's so deep and spiritual. This is great stuff to remember. Teal is amazing. You are infinite. Don't ever forget that. There is more to the Universe than we could ever possibly understand in this life. We can't grasp it all. 

This is an amazing Teal Swan quote. She is amazing, you should look her up on YouTube if you love spiritual stuff. She's all about spiritual growth.

Her advice and information will change your life. Teal has really changed my life in so many ways. I love her.

You are infinite. What you see with your eyes is only a fraction of what is. There is so much more to life.

We are richer than we think!

If you have these things, you are truly blessed. God is good. He has blessed us in so many ways. We just have to look around and be grateful for everything we have. Life is a blessing. When we count our blessings, we receive more things to be thankful for.

Just never forget how blessed you are in this life. You probably have it a lot better than you realize it. If it seems like other people have it better than you, stop focusing on them and their blessings.

Don't compare yourself to others. Just be grateful for what you have. God is good to each of us in our own way.

You have your own blessings. If you have a roof over your head then you are blessed beyond measure. Even just having food to eat is a huge blessing.

Look around and see all the blessings before you. Life is really good.

It's never too late for a new beginning in your life. Sometimes you have to step back, wipe the slate clean and start over. 

There's no shame in trying again. You might do even better this time around. Things might be easier. It's never too late.

You can't live life worried about what others think of you. You will never be happy that way. You have to live your own life and do what makes you happy, even if others don't agree with it. It's YOUR LIFE. You can't live it for other people. You will never be fulfilled if you are always worried about what others think. Trust yourself to make the right decisions. You know what's best for your life. 

The reason so many people are unhappy

This is definitely true. This is why so many people are unhappy. They see things as worse than they are. Or they are living in the past, thinking it was perfect, when it actually had its flaws too. Or they are looking to much toward the future. Live in the moment and be grateful. 

Things are really good. You have to start seeing them that way. Life is good. Things are never as bad as they seem. Be happy right now in the moment. That is how you will have a great life. It really works. Try it and watch your life change.

A very true statement regarding Coffee.

Coffee, if you're not shaking you need another cup. Isn't that the truest statement you've ever heard? I love coffee and I pretty much drink it everyday. Somehow I find that on days where I don't drink it, I have a bad day.

It's hard for me to really get moving without my coffee. It's not really a bad habit since it has health benefits.

There's nothing in the world like the taste of fresh brewed coffee. The smell, the taste, the energy it gives you.

I could do without the crash afterwards, but other than that I love me some coffee. I'll have another cup!

The treasure you cannot see, hear or taste (spiritual story)

There was an old man who lived in a hut. Every morning he went to the street for alms. He never complained about his situations or his struggles. He took what was given without question. One day when the old man returning from his routine saw that the hut was taken by somebody else. Somebody else was eating his food and money he had little saved. The old man with compassion went inside the hut. The young beggar asked "who are you?" wrapping his hands around the food he found, the old man replied, I am you but in a different body.

Sometimes you have to go through the worst..

This is a lesson I've learned the hard way. Sometimes the bad things that happen to us, put us on the path we're meant to be on. It may seem like things are hard at times…but you have to know that those times will pass. 

It's all about patience

You have to be patient, because after the hard times come the blessings. Sometimes you have to go through the worst in order to get the best. This has been true in my life, and it is true for yours too. The hardships prepare you to meet your destiny.

You have to be patient

Once you go through the worst, then you are ready for the best. You are ready to live the life you've only dreamed of.

Blessings are coming

Think of the trials as a prerequisite for being blessed beyond measure. You can be more blessed than you ever imagined. It will happen for you. All you have to do is be patient and keep believing. Your time will come, I guarantee it. Keep your head held high. This too shall pass.

The best laid plans...(blog post and rant)

I had something bad happen recently, but I'm starting to think it might actually be good. I think everything we think is "bad" may actually be for our benefit. Anyways, here's what happened.

I had been a part of certain internet business for a couple of years, up until recently. It was going very good.

I was getting to the point where I was starting to make money with it. 

I would have made some great money if things kept going as they were.

Well recently, the business had a lot of problems with revenue coming in, and so in a nutshell, the business collapsed.

So my 2+ years of hard work, and building up the business, was basically all for nothing. 

A couple of key points, though.

1. I had spent a lot of money trying to grow the business. It was eating into my monthly living expenses, so I won't have to worry about that anymore.

2. I gained a lot of experience working with this business. Experience that I will use in the future in all my internet marketing pursuits.

3. The business is a Revshare, and they are known for failing. In fact, they probably fail more than any other business.

I'm starting to really doubt the Revshare model. 

The sustainability of it all. I was the BIGGEST advocate and supporter of Rev shares. But now I'm starting to see that they are probably not built to last unless there is an external source of income that is dependable.

I think from now on I may just focus on other methods of making money online. Lesson learned...don't invest more money than you can afford into your business! 

And most importantly, that quote about the "best-laid plans of mice and men" is true.

Sometimes you have something planned out so perfectly, and you think it's going to go a certain way, but then something happens and changes your plans.

You can't really count on certain things in life, because life changes. You just have to learn to roll with the punches and adapt to whatever life throws at you. Sometimes that's easier said than done. Never get your hopes up too much for something, that's an important lesson I learned from this.

I am excited to find more money-making opportunities and what the future has in store. Thanks for reading!

Ready for summer

Life is good and I'm feeling really blessed right now. I am thankful for everything I have, truly. I could not be more blessed.

I am choosing to live in positivity and look forward to better days. I really can't wait for summer. I'm hoping this will be the best summer yet!

I hope to spend it with great friends and have a lot of fun. I don't have enough fun in my life. I'm always stressed and worried about working and money etc. I just worry too much about that kind of stuff.

I need to let loose and have fun more often. If you can't enjoy life, what's the point? I've definitely had some things happen that weren't very "fun", for example my Mother passed away recently.

I will always miss her and it's something I'm learning to deal with. I don't think you ever get over a loss like that.

In some ways I'm still grieving my father, who passed away years ago when I was 22. It has been a long ride, and so much has happened.

That's why I just want to enjoy every moment of life and stop worrying so much. We never know how much time we have left on this earth, so live it to the fullest!

Stop waiting for Friday, for someone to fall in love with you, for things to be perfect. They will never be perfect.

Learn to appreciate what you have and live in the moment, for this moment is all we ever truly have!

The *power* of gratitude

I did a gratitude challenge where you don't complain. It really changed my life in a lot of ways. I think everyone should try doing this challenge.

Complaining really does nothing for you and will only hold you back. When you are grateful for everything in your life, good things happen to you and you receive more blessings than you already have.

Gratitude is the best way to live. We are all so blessed, we just have to stop and look around and realize it.

There is always so much to be thankful for. Life is good. Remember to look around and find things to be grateful for, every day, and your whole life will change.

Try keeping a gratitude journal, that will change your life even more!

RickRolling IRL with Rick Astley (Real life RickRoll)

This is one of the best videos I've ever seen. I have always thought Rick Astley was awesome, even since I first saw the RickRoll. I have always been a fan of Rick Rolling people. I used to do it to friends, and it was funny every time.

He is probably the most viral star on the internet. Almost everyone knows about Never Gonna Give You Up.

And this video is really awesome because it is actually him going around RickRolling people in real life.

How much more epic can you get than that? It doesn't get better than that. I'm surprised I'm just now seeing this video.

This song has made him a legend. He continues to get more popular on the internet, and off. The looks on some of these people's faces when he shows up with the song playing.

This is the best idea ever for a video. I'm glad I came across this one. Really made my day. If you're a fan of Rick Astley then share this so your friends can see it!

That awful moment when you learn (Fresh Prince scene)

Growing up, this was one of my favorite shows ever. I watched it all the time. This is one of the best scenes in the whole series. It was so real and terrible at the same time. To learn that this was a real breakdown and not scripted, makes it even harder to watch. I can relate a lot to this scene because of my childhood. It is crazy to see two actors having such a real moment like that. Makes it that much better if you ask me. 

I will always remember that scene, as will we all. Will Smith has been through a lot and it is evident here. 

Looking for a super easy way to earn money on the internet?

If you haven't heard of Ewen Chia, you need to start studying him. He is an internet marketing legend and is a master at making money on the internet.

He has developed many products to teach you how to earn a living from home through affiliate marketing.

"Fast Track Cash" is one of his best products to date. This product has taught thousands of people how to make money online.

Anyone can earn money online, it just takes a proven system that you follow step-by-step. That's really all you need to do.

You don't have to be a genius to work from home. It just takes some effort, and of course, a computer and internet connection.

My bad experience with a YouTube ad network

A few months back, I joined a YouTube Network. Basically they are a network that pays you out your ad earnings every month from YouTube, and they pay you straight into Paypal.

It's great for if you don't want to wait until the minimum withdrawal limit from Google Adsense. The downside is that the network takes a large portion of your earnings.

In my case they took 60% of my monthly earnings! That's a lot of money. I ended up getting kicked out of the network for some unknown reason.

So now I'm back with Google Adsense. What I learned in the end is that networks are not really worth your time and they will just make you earn less from YouTube.

You are much better off sticking with Google Adsense. You channel will need to be bigger for you to withdraw, but in the end it will be worth it.

I am not going to name which network I was with, but I wish them the best. I'm thankful for the experience because it taught me what I don't want. 

Admit when you're wrong

I love this quote. We should always learn to admit when we're wrong and shut up when we're right. That's the way it should be. It takes a humble person to do both of those things. Being humble is the best way to live your life.

Nobody likes someone who is full of themselves. So it's always best to be humble. It will take you a lot farther in life.

I have learned this from experience. 

People will like you a lot more and you'll have more friends. You don't have to be full of yourself to succeed in life. 

You don't have to brag when you're right. 

You can actually be quiet about it. And it takes a very big person to admit when you're wrong. Not everybody knows how to do that.

The ones who do have a much better quality of their lives.

This is an important life lesson.

Can making money online be that easy?

Making money on the internet doesn't have to be as hard as you think. Newbies think it's hard just because they have failed.

I failed a lot when I first started out. It happens to all of us. But that doesn't mean it has to be difficult to make money online.

Some methods are harder than others, but one thing's for sure, you have to find a method that works for you.

I found a method that is SO EASY that even a complete newbie can do it. The best part is, you DON'T have to get a single sign up into your business to make money with it.

Making money online doesn't have to be hard. You may have struggled a lot in the past, and that's ok. We all struggle when first starting out.

It's normal and it's part of the process. But what if you didn't have to struggle? What if there was a business you could succeed at EASILY?

If you want to get sign ups you will earn even more, but it's not a requirement. Does this sound like a business that you want to join?

Why is list building important?

I used to not understand the importance of building your email list. That is, when I first started out in internet marketing.

It is important for several reasons. You need to have an email list because you own that and no one can take it away from you.

When you join businesses on the internet, they can always be taken away from you at any time. However, when you build an email list, that IS YOUR BUSINESS!

No one can take it away from you. Ever. You build a relationship with the people on your list. They become your biggest fans and supporters.

They also buy products that you offer them that will help them succeed online. You should always provide value.

Your email list is so important if you want to build a real internet business. All of your "traffic driving" should be aimed at your email list.

Don't drive traffic directly to affiliate offers and businesses. Channel all your traffic sources to your email list and focus on building that.

Without an email list, you can't really build a real business that YOU OWN. It's super important, as they say, the money is in the list!

Another Snowstorm coming our way? (blog)

Well, it's almost spring or basically has been feeling like spring for a few weeks now. And there is another snowstorm coming this weekend!

That's pretty awesome though. I live in Missouri and we're known for having weather that doesn't make any sense.

It can be snowing one day and warm the next, literally. It's just how our weather has always been. I love it in Missouri though.

I think it's pretty cool that we will get one last taste of snow before winter is officially over. I kind of like when it snows.

A lot of people don't, but there's something about being inside on a snowy day and watching the snowfall. I love it.

I'm thinking it's going to be a really good weekend. So far this week has been pretty good. Some ups and downs, but that's how it usually is.

Start each day with gratitude! (A trick that will change your life)

I learned something that works very well, if you want to have a great life. This trick will let you have a good day EVERYDAY.

Each morning when you wake up, write down 5-10 things that you are grateful for. It could be anything. Good health, your home, your clothing, food.

This sets your vibration in a high state and attracts more good things to you. You will start off each day with a positive vibration of gratitude!

There is not a better way to start your day. When we are grateful for everything, then we attract more good things into our lives.

You can live defeated and depressed all the time, or you can be grateful for what you have. There are so many things to be grateful for.

We just have to remind ourselves how good we actually have it in life. There are ALWAYS people who have it worse off than us.

Remember that. There are people that are homeless that still manage to be grateful for the blessings they have.

And they still start each day with a smile. Make today the day when you shift into gratitude and change your life!

I guarantee your days will get a lot better and things will start going right for you. This trick is so simple but it will have such great results for you.

I started doing this a year or two ago and I have had miracles ever since. Gratitude is like a magnet that attracts all good things to us. Try it out yourself and watch your life change in amazing ways!

It's been rough (and thoughts about blogging more)

Not gonna lie, things have been tough lately. Just have been going through a lot. Somehow I find it in me to just keep going.

That's really all you can do. It's not possible to stay positive all the time, even though I wish it was. It's healthy to have your down times too.

My mother is dying, she is getting worse every day and I don't know how much longer she will be alive. I have mixed feelings about it.

It's just one of those things that I knew would happen someday. My relationship with her wasn't very good over the years.

Anyways I am hoping things will start looking up soon. I do have a lot to be grateful for so I have to appreciate all the blessings I have.

God has been so good to me in so many ways. I'm looking forward to a great 2017! I hope this will be the best summer ever.

I'm going to try to blog more because I believe it's important. I lost my other blog (it got deleted), so this is my main blog now.

It's a lot easier having only one blog. Now I can focus all my effort on this blog! Which is pretty cool if I must say.

Having an ice storm in winter 2017 (My thoughts)

There is supposedly a really big ice storm coming in Missouri and throughout the midwest over the weekend.

I'm really thankful that I have a warm home to stay in. Many people don't even have that. It always helps to have perspective.

Things could always be worse. I'm praying for all of the homeless people, I hope they make it through this and have somewhere to go.

I hope people are safe traveling too. They are saying there's going to be a fair amount of ice accumulating on the roads.

It will be kind of nice to stay inside all weekend. Hopefully the ice won't be as bad as they say. This is our first major winter storm of 2017.

Spring is not even that far off. The last few days, it actually got up around 60 degrees here in Missouri!

That's really warm for the middle of January. I love living in Missouri, even if the weather is all over the place.

If you're reading this, don't travel unless you really have to, the roads are going to be slick!

New year, fresh start!

It's officially a new year, 2017, can you believe it? 2016 was rough in more ways than one. For all of us, not just some of us. It must have been something in the stars.

We lost a lot of amazing people, and the year just kind of felt like an uphill battle. 

But I can say that it wasn't all bad.

In fact, if you put a positive spin on it, 2016 was actually a really great year. A lot of really amazing things happened as well.

There is always a blessing in every situation. 

I learned a lot, and I grew a lot, but now it's time for a fresh start.

In 2017 I'm going to leave the baggage in the past. I'm letting go of all of the negativity and nonsense that was holding me back previously.

I think we should all do that. 

That's what New Year's is about, having a fresh start and starting over! It's a great opportunity that none of us should waste.
